RYUJIN, formerly known as GYZE and earlier as Suicide Heaven, stands as a formidable Japanese metal force that delves into the realms of melodic death metal, enriched with elements of power metal, symphonic metal, and folk metal. This musical powerhouse was founded in 2009, undergoing a significant rebranding in 2019 to adopt their current name. Originating from the northern expanse of Hokkaido, they proudly proclaim themselves as a Northern Nostalgic Metal band.

At its core, the band centers on the talents of Ryoji, a virtuoso on the guitar and vocals, and Shuji, the rhythmic foundation behind the drum kit. Complementing this dynamic duo is Aruta Watanabe, anchoring the low end on bass, and, more recently, Shinkai, lending his guitar prowess to the ensemble.
