In 2011, the inception of THOUSAND EYES marked the reunion of LIGHTNING's accomplished guitarist, KOUTA, with his longtime companion, DOUGEN, the dynamic vocalist from AFTERZERO. What began as a two-person project evolved swiftly when AKIRA, the skilled bassist known for his contributions to YOUTHHQUAKE and VOLCANO, joined forces in 2012. Strengthened by the addition of other talented members, the band seamlessly transitioned from a project to a fully-fledged, dynamic force in the Japanese melodic death metal scene.
