Nogod, stylized as NoGoD, emerges as a dynamic force in the Japanese visual kei heavy metal scene, born in 2005 under the visionary leadership of vocalist Dancho. Initially christened as Shinko Shukyo Gakudan Nogod, translating to "New Religion Band Nogod," the band underwent a transformation upon signing with major label King Records in 2010, adopting the streamlined moniker Nogod.
