Takayoshi Ohmura, known as 大村孝佳 (Ōmura Takayoshi) in Japanese, is a highly talented musician and songwriter hailing from Osaka Prefecture. His musical journey began at the tender age of three when he first tinkered with the piano. As he grew, so did his musical prowess. By the age of 11, he had already picked up the acoustic guitar, and at 14, he transitioned to the electric guitar.
But it was at 17 when Takayoshi Ohmura's musical path took a distinctive turn. His fascination with western hard rock and heavy metal genres became an obsession, and he wholeheartedly embraced them. Over the years, he's showcased his remarkable guitar skills on tours with renowned musician Marty Friedman and collaborated with a diverse array of artists and groups.
His musical journey has taken him to stages alongside Taiwanese pop sensation A-Mei, Japanese vocalist Liv Moon (Akane Liv), the jazz big band Date Course Pentagon Royal Garden (DCPRG), C4, Uroboros, and the sensational Babymetal. In addition to his impressive performance career, Ohmura imparts his knowledge and expertise as an instructor at Musicians Institute Japan (MI Japan).
