Manabu Hoshino (Gt), a devoted fan of metal legends like DREAM THEATER and SYMPHONY, embarked on a studio project with these influences at its core. This endeavor marked the genesis of their musical journey. While engaging in seasonal live performances with support members, the search for permanent bandmates who resonated with their distinctive sound led them to encounter like-minded individuals.
Enter Shingo Ogawa (Ds) and Tatsuya Yamaguchi (Bas), both of whom shared a deep affinity for bands like ANGRA, SONATA ARCTICA, and RHAPSODY. With newfound synergy, the group decided to call Kanagawa home and transitioned into full-scale activities, spanning from Atsugi to Hachioji, Tokyo. Their passion for metal continued to drive them forward, and in 2009, they made a significant move by participating in the domestic metal omnibus "SAMURAI METAL Vol.5," further expanding their reach into Tokyo.
However, as fate would have it, Yamaguchi eventually departed from the band. In 2010, Yamazaki (Ba) joined the ranks, bringing his love for X JAPAN, LOUDNESS, and DREAM THEATER into the mix. With this lineup solidified, they began crafting their debut album, "SPLENDID ROSA BIRTH - The Birth of a Splendid Rosa," featuring the acclaimed "Rosa Trilogy" ("Rosa Crisis," "Rosa Gigantia," "Rosa Sirius"), a collection that had already enraptured audiences at live performances. The album, released in July 2011 under Yggdrasil Records, marked a significant milestone in their journey.
Come spring 2012, the band embarked on an ambitious project – a concept album. Fuelled by an original story penned by Naru (Vo), they crafted songs that expanded upon the narrative and its settings. In parallel, they commenced work on their second album, initially slated for a late 2013 release. However, challenges within the band led to a temporary postponement of recording.
In the latter half of 2015, they returned to the studio, fervently producing and recording albums. By the summer of 2016, they had completed the epic story album, "Another Veiled Story Fate no Keiki," which saw its release on October 28, 2016, through their newly signed Black-listed Records.
Fast forward to 2019, Louis (Dr.) joined as a support member. While maintaining a robust live performance schedule, they simultaneously delved into songwriting. On April 15, 2020, they unleashed their third album, "Baroque Gravity," a groundbreaking fusion of quantum mechanics and music, released under Repentless Records. This innovative work further explores the realms of Schoenberg's artistry and marked a milestone with their first music video, "Crystal de Neige."
Despite the setback of the COVID-19 pandemic delaying live activities, they managed to host several performances. In August 2021, Naru (Vo) faced health challenges, leading to a hiatus of one and a half years. However, on October 6, 2022, Naru (Vo) triumphantly returned, marking the resumption of their activities in full force.
