J-rock / anison legend Toshl, best known worldwide as the iconic vocalist of X Japan, returns with IM A SINGER VOL. 4 (“I’m a Singer Vol. 4”), the fourth chapter in his cover-album saga and basically a vocal kaiju stomping through anime history with perfect-pitch lasers. The album is centered on anime songs, including 愛をとりもどせ!! from 北斗の拳 -FIST OF THE NORTH STAR- and covers linked to Neon Genesis Evangelion, Attack on Titan, Sailor Moon, SPY×FAMILY, STAND BY ME Doraemon 2, and Anohana. It also includes two original tracks, 運命の閃光 and 煌めきは風, giving the record a little fresh Toshl-code inside the nostalgia reactor.
