Melodic hardcore with post-hardcore steelwork and screamo exhaust propels THE MAYTH through Reignite, a two-minute combustion chamber packed with breakneck momentum, heavyweight riffs, communal singalongs and enough structural mutations to make progressive rock check its spreadsheet. This is not a slow-burning comeback signal; somebody has poured lighter fluid directly into the circle pit.
The two-track single pairs the new title cut with Embers, a song originally released in 2020 and now rebuilt with revised lyrics and vocal phrasing to match the band’s current form. It makes the release behave like a compact temporal loop: Reignite sparks the next chapter while Embers retrieves an older flame and upgrades its firmware.
Released digitally on July 29 2026, the single also lends its fire-based vocabulary to the three-city REIGNITE THE EMBERS TOUR 2026, visiting Tokyo Osaka and Kagawa.
