Gothic romantic rock project ザ・ヒーナキャット have released a live video for バイバイ (Bai Bai, “Bye Bye”) in a two-person setup with drums, and it sounds like a haunted Showa-kayō melody borrowed a hard-rock leather jacket and walked dramatically out of the room. バイバイ is the cutest possible way to say goodbye, but in Heanacat physics that goodbye comes wrapped in gothic sweetness, sharp hooks, and the kind of theatrical sadness that probably owns a tiny coffin-shaped pedalboard.
