SUZU will graduate from BABYBEARD on September 7, 2026, ending her six-year tenure as an original member of the pop-metal idol group.
BABYBEARD announced the personnel change through its official Facebook page on September 2. The group said the decision followed extensive discussions involving SUZU, the other members and management. According to the statement, the parties concluded that graduation would best support her future ambitions.
In a message accompanying the announcement, SUZU recalled joining the project in 2020 while she was still a student. She said becoming an idol had been a childhood dream and thanked the fans, family members and colleagues who supported her during her time with the group.
SUZU acknowledged that the journey had included difficult periods but said BABYBEARD provided experiences and personal connections she would not otherwise have encountered. She also pledged to make the most of her remaining days as a member.
BABYBEARD plans to continue from September 8 as a three-member group comprising MINA, MIZUKI and LADYBEARD. No details about SUZU’s next activities have been announced, and her future plans remain unconfirmed beyond the official statement.
