The Tokyo-born experimental rock / visual kei outfit sukekiyo has released their latest digital single “possess” — marking their first major digital release since Dominus in 2025 and continuing a rich run of art-driven sonic experiments from the band.
Formed in 2013 by Dir En Grey’s frontman Kyo, sukekiyo blends avant-garde, progressive, and post-rock elements within a visual kei aesthetic, crafting atmospheric and genre-defying compositions that stand apart from mainstream J-rock.
