Shūkatsu Club fires another dopamine-soaked dose of dance rock with 「タテホコダンス」 (Tatehoko Dance – “Shield-and-Spear Dance”), a track that turns modern inner conflict into an irresistibly jumpable groove. Like a fuzz pedal wired straight into existential philosophy, the song collides anxious lyricism with infectious rhythms while embracing contradiction as its central riff. The accompanying fully animated music video amplifies its hypnotic loop-like energy, making the song feel equally at home in a sweaty live house and inside your overworked frontal cortex. The single also serves as the April ending theme for TV Tokyo’s “Jikkuri Kiitarō ~Star Kinkyō (Hi) Hōkoku~” (Let’s Hear It Thoroughly: Star Status (Secret) Report) and appears on the band’s major 3rd EP 『全力タイアップ』 (Full-Power Tie-Ups).
