Sezko

Emo punk / pop-punk girls band Sezko crash-land Safe Place like a diary page shoved through a fuzz pedal, turning heartbreak discomfort into hook-heavy catharsis with just enough sparkle to make the mosh pit emotionally self-aware. Read as Setsuko, the Tokyo-based trio lists Hiyo on vocal/guitar, Mayo on bass, and Maki on drums, with Safe Place released as their 2nd single on July 8. The song is described by the band as being about 蛙化現象 (kaeruka genshō), a dating-slang “frog phenomenon” where attraction suddenly flips into revulsion — basically romance hitting the wrong patch cable mid-solo.
