Emotional rock band SBE hit the big red “system restore” button with Regenerate, their 3rd full album and first album in five years. Built around the theme of “再生” — regeneration / rebirth — the record sounds like local pride from Morioka being overclocked through guitars, sweat, and a chorus engine that refuses to blue-screen. The album also launches the Regenerate Tour, turning the whole release into a live-house reboot sequence with extra distortion particles.
