Born in Gifu, Japan in 1984, SA (better known internationally as Samurai Attack) are veterans of the hardcore punk scene with an Oi! edge — think rapid tempos, fist-raising choruses, and a gritty but uplifting punk ethos.
Their catalog spans decades of full-length LPs and EPs, including classics like Matchless Attack! and Primal Yell, and they continue to bring that street-level intensity to stages and releases in Japan.
The band has just released a live performance video of “GET UP! WARRIORS”, a straight-up punk anthem that channels the genre’s rebellious spirit into a sweaty concert vibe worthy of fans old and new. (This track also appears on their earlier releases.)
