Ryoji Shinomoto, guitarist of Ryujin, and Wataru Mukai previously unveiled a single reworking three Beethoven piano sonatas through a modern, heavy lens.
Now, they present a performance video of Beethoven’s Piano Sonata No. 23 “Appassionata” – 3rd Movement, reimagined as a metal cover. The arrangement preserves the relentless drive and dramatic architecture of the original while translating its volatility into electric guitar and cello, pushing classical extremity directly into contemporary metal territory.
