First it was Vivaldi—now it’s Beethoven.

Ryuji Shinomoto (guitarist of GYZE later RYUJIN) teams up once again with Wataru Mukai to reinterpret pillars of the classical canon. This time, Beethoven’s Piano Sonatas No. 8 (Pathétique), No. 14 (Moonlight), and No. 23 (Appassionata) are radically reworked through a modern, cross-genre lens.

The project reframes these compositions with electric guitar, cello, and contemporary arrangement logic—preserving Beethoven’s dramatic architecture while amplifying its tension, weight, and emotional volatility. A study in how classical extremity translates seamlessly into modern intensity.
