The introspective alt-rock trio rillrail have just dropped a stripped-down acoustic EP titled moonbow (月虹, literally “moon rainbow” — a poetic meteorological phenomenon where moonlight refracts into faint spectral colors). Released January 31, 2026, the EP recasts their signature complex chords and layered melodies in an intimate acoustic setting — think irregular meters softened into warm timbres, with vocals and piano/strings bringing the band’s already dreamy world even closer to the listener’s ear.
