The modern metal / metalcore band NEKOMESHI222 has dropped a live digest video of the track “Starvation”, taken from their EP Regeneration, and it hits with far more weight than a standard rock label suggests. The live footage puts the focus squarely on crushing riff work, tight low-end grooves, and an aggressive rhythmic backbone that feels rooted in contemporary Japanese underground metal rather than hard rock.
