Japanese idol group JUGS MAFIA will end its current lineup on August 31, 2026, following the graduation of its three remaining active members.
Tachibana Asahi (橘あさひ), Aiamu Hime (愛編姫) and Venus Naoka (美神ナオカ) will leave both JUGS MAFIA and the group’s management agency, YABACUBE, at the end of August. Tachibana confirmed the decision in a statement published after JUGS MAFIA shared an official notice through its X account.
The departures follow an unspecified incident involving fellow member Funwari Reina (ふんわりれいな). Tachibana said the situation had destroyed the trust required for the members to continue working together.
Reina subsequently issued a separate apology, accepting responsibility for what she described as careless conduct that caused concern and trouble for fans, fellow members and staff. The publicly available posts reviewed did not provide further details about the incident.
JUGS MAFIA’s official account described the announcement as an important notice and asked supporters to continue backing the group until the end of its remaining activities.
Although the departure of every remaining member effectively ends the present version of JUGS MAFIA, the announcement does not explicitly state that the group is permanently disbanding or that its name will be retired. No plans for a replacement lineup have been announced in the material reviewed.
