Jisoku 36km

Japanese indie rock outfit Jisoku 36km returns with a freshly unveiled live clip for “Shichigatsu Nanoka Dori” (七月七日通り, “July 7th Street”), capturing the band’s trademark blend of restless youth, late-night introspection, and amplifiers pushed just shy of emotional detonation. Filmed during their one-man show at Shibuya CLUB QUATTRO, the performance turns the song’s nostalgic glow into a widescreen burst of guitar-driven catharsis. Hailing from Tokyo’s Ekoda scene, the quartet continues to champion what can only be described as beautifully unmarketable honesty—music that feels less like a product and more like a diary page accidentally plugged into a wall of Marshall stacks. A new album, Me wo Tojitemo Nokoru Aka (“The Red That Remains Even When You Close Your Eyes”), has also been announced.
