Visual kei band FUKURO have announced an indefinite hiatus, with all scheduled band activities, organized concerts and planned releases now cancelled.
The band said the decision followed internal discussions after information concerning vocalist Yoshiatsu circulated online. According to the statement, Yoshiatsu apologized to the members and explained the situation, while also indicating that some claims were accurate and others were not. The band said he will suspend all artistic and public activities for the foreseeable future.
FUKURO said the discussions exposed differences among the members over how to respond to supporters and how to continue the band’s activities. The group concluded that the trust needed to carry on had been seriously affected and that continuing in a form all members could accept was no longer possible.
As part of the hiatus, all FUKURO-organized concerts will be cancelled, and the band will withdraw from scheduled events and festivals. Ticket refund details will be announced after arrangements are finalized. The band’s planned three-month consecutive release project has also been cancelled.
FUKURO said its official fan club will remain open for the time being, but new content updates and scheduled livestreams will be suspended during the hiatus. Further information will be shared through the band’s official website and social media channels.
