Tokyo live-house guitar rock unit Broken my toybox open the emotional toolbox again with life, an EP title that needs no translation but still arrives carrying the weight of every late-night rehearsal, blown amp fuse, and heart-on-sleeve chorus you can fit into one human operating system. The band call their own genre “Broken,” which is basically pop-rock with the safety manual shredded: sharp melodies, high-tone vocals, aggressive guitar voltage, and enough genre-bending wiring to make the pedalboard file a complaint.
