Dance-rock puts on steel-toed uwabaki as ATARASHII GAKKO! unleash “Oi AG!”, literally “Hey AG!”—a considerably rockier transmission powered by dirty guitar swagger, gang vocals and enough AC/DC-flavoured voltage to make the school circuit breaker request early retirement. It is still unmistakably AG!: tightly engineered chaos, elastic choreography and four personalities operating as one extremely rebellious multicore processor.
Directed by Mackenzie Sheppard, the MV sees the quartet convert a humble kei truck into a DIY mobile stage before blasting through manga-like warp space and Tokyo’s nocturnal circuitry. The director compared the track’s energy to a secret collision between ZZ Top, AC/DC and ATARASHII GAKKO!—scientifically improbable, aesthetically correct. “Oi AG!” opens the ten-track fourth album From Tokyo with Love, released July 24, 2026 after the song’s advance release on July 10.
