Punk rock comes boot-stomping out of Osaka’s basement circuit as THE ROTTENMEIER tear through 2026/02/23 THE ROTTENMEIER in戦国大統領④ — romanized as “THE ROTTENMEIER in Sengoku Daitōryō 4,” literally “THE ROTTENMEIER at Warring States President #4.” The band’s name reads like a strict governess from Heidi got possessed by a cracked P.A. stack, but the sound is all sweat, blunt riffs, and no-polish punk voltage from the Midoribashi live-house trenches.
