Punk rock with bruised-heart gang vocals and pub-floor electricity, THE PRISONER turn おまえと出会えたことだけで (Omae to Deaeta Koto Dake de, “Just Having Met You”) into a fist-raised love letter for everyone who knows punk can punch and hug at the same time. The MV is built from live clips, making the song feel less like a polished studio postcard and more like a sweaty tour diary stapled to a distortion pedal. The track also appears on the four-song OUR GENERATION split CD with DONT TURN AWAY, handed out during their 2026 two-band “情熱続行ツアー” (Jōnetsu Zokkō Tour, “Passion Continues Tour”). The band’s official site also lists IN THE NAME OF PUNK as their 11th album, released June 18, 2025.
