終活クラブ (Shūkatsu Club) crank the existential amplifier to eleven with the live video for 「転生願望」 (Tensei Ganbō / “Reincarnation Desire”), captured during their major-label 2nd anniversary one-man show 「そうぞうりょく」 (“Imagination”) at LIQUIDROOM. Equal parts tongue-in-cheek philosophy lecture and arena-sized catharsis, the track channels the band’s trademark literary Japanese-rock DNA into a whirlwind of restless ambition, identity crises, and singalong hooks. The song also serves as the opening theme for the TV anime 『女神「異世界転生何になりたいですか」 俺「勇者の肋骨で」』 (Goddess: “What Do You Want to Be Reincarnated As in Another World?” Me: “The Hero’s Rib Bone”). Adding another power-up to the lore, Shūkatsu Club have also announced their major 3rd EP 『全力タイアップ』 (Full-Power Tie-Ups), continuing their delightfully self-aware collision of sharp songwriting, absurdist humor, and rock’n’roll sincerity.
