Genre-less pop-rock band RETRORIRON open the vault with ミッドナイトタイムカプセル — Middonaito Taimu Kapuseru, meaning “Midnight Time Capsule” — a bright yet battle-scarred pop tune about the dreams people carried when they were kids. Wrapped in a light western-swing groove, the song turns childhood ambition into a tiny emotional DeLorean: shiny on the outside, existentially overclocked under the hood. Released as their 6th digital single on July 8, 2026, it appears to be a standalone release. RETRORIRON do have a separate anime tie-in with “エゴ” for the TV anime The Most Heretical Last Boss Queen: From Villainess to Savior Season 2.
