Pop rock / quirky alternative rock band ネクライトーキー (NECRY TALKIE) fire up the strange little anime jukebox with 煙とブルー (Kemuri to Blue / “Smoke and Blue”), the title track from their upcoming digital EP 煙とブルー e.p., out August 5, 2026. The song is the ending theme for the TV anime ヤニねこ (Yani Neko / “Cigarette Cat”), written after guitarist Asahi — a fan of the original manga — had previously posted that he wanted to handle the theme if it ever became an anime. The EP also includes エレキの気持ち, 風がただ吹いている, and 余計なこと, making this a four-track packet of negative-pop mischief, game-music sugar, and guitar-wired weirdness with smoke curling out of the speakers.
