Misshitsu-kei Visual Kei and Showa kayō rock pitch their blackened big top in the malfunctioning metropolis of MERRY (メリー)’s Urbanstyle Circus. The band’s 13th full-length album turns the modern city into a beautifully diseased carnival where nostalgia wears smeared makeup and every attraction appears to violate at least three electrical-safety regulations.
Released on July 29 2026, the album follows The Last Scene by roughly 18 months. Its wonderfully suspicious attractions include Cold Fascination, 夢売りサーカス (Yumeuri Sākasu – “Dream-Selling Circus”), Zombie Star and 黄昏の花 (Tasogare no Hana – “Flower of Twilight”). The limited edition contains 11 studio tracks plus an eight-song live CD recorded during MERRY’s 25th-anniversary performance at HEAVEN’S ROCK Saitama Shintoshin VJ-3. The standard edition adds a twelfth track titled 陳腐な幸福の缶詰 (Chinpu na Kōfuku no Kanzume – “A Can of Trite Happiness”)—possibly the least trustworthy canned product since industrial pudding.
