Haku. – ハク。

The  indie rock band Haku. (ハク。)—the Osaka-based four-piece known for blending UK/US-inspired indie textures with emotionally transparent J-pop songwriting—has released their new EP “Sekai” (世界 / “World”). The record continues the band’s signature aesthetic: airy guitar layers, rhythmically agile indie arrangements, and vocalist Ai’s clear yet emotionally volatile delivery that captures both the fragility and urgency of youth.

The EP contains four tracks, including the title song “Sekai,” the piano-tinged pop single “Fuwa Wa” (ふわ輪), the earlier major debut track “Sore Shika Ienai,” and “Muchū Neko,” which previously served as the theme song for the web animation “Ugoku! Neko Mukashibanashi!”. Together, the songs revolve around the tension between anxiety and hope in a rapidly changing world—an emotional motif that has become central to the band’s lyrical identity.
