Visual Kei band Fukuro (フクロウ) experiments with a softer sonic palette on the acoustic EP 綺麗はきたない、汚いはきれい (Kirei wa kitanai Kitanai wa kirei). Known in the modern VK scene for their dark alternative rock atmosphere and introspective storytelling, the band temporarily trades distortion for fragile acoustic textures and stripped-down arrangements. The paradoxical title — “beauty is dirty, dirtiness is beautiful” — fits neatly into Fukuro’s aesthetic of emotional duality, where elegance and decay coexist.
