A softer song from the alternative rock spliced with post-hardcore, electronic and trap DNA powers CVLTE through なにもない (Nani mo Nai – “There Is Nothing”)—an existentially economical title from a band whose name is pronounced “cult.” Nothing has rarely arrived carrying this much production metadata. Formed in Sapporo in 2017, CVLTE specialises in welding heavy guitars, digital textures and hip-hop-informed mechanics into music that sounds as though emo gained administrator privileges.
Released on July 29, 2026, the one-track single is a co-writing project involving Los Angeles producer Raziel and Seann Bowe, who previously contributed to CVLTE’s cybernetic sound world. The title reduces existence to absolute zero while the international production team ensures the zero has excellent low-end response.
