Visual Kei band #Botsu ( #没 ) have released a three-track 2026 remastered single titled BOUBIROKU — literally translated as “Memorandum” or “Record for When Something Is Forgotten.”
Hailing from Japan’s underground Visual Kei circuit, #Botsu ( #没 ) built their identity around emotional density, dark aesthetics, and guitar-driven tension. The kanji “没” conveys meanings such as “to sink,” “to vanish,” or “to be erased” — a strikingly fitting symbol for a band whose thematic core revolved around fragility, disappearance, and psychological introspection.
Importantly, #Botsu officially disbanded in March 2026, closing their chapter shortly after this remastered release. In that light, BOUBIROKU (2026 Remaster) reads almost like a final document — a preserved fragment of their artistic identity before sinking into silence, echoing the very meaning embedded in their name.
