Visual Kei rock band Amai Bouryoku (甘い暴力) have unleashed a new single titled 「虎伏戦吼」 — literally translated as “Tiger Crouching, Battle Roar.” The title evokes a predatory calm before eruption, a fitting metaphor for the band’s volatile blend of theatrical aesthetics and razor-edged rock aggression.
Active since 2016, Amai Bouryoku have carved out a distinctive niche within the modern Visual Kei movement. Their name translates to “Sweet Violence,” a duality that defines their sonic identity: emotionally charged melodies wrapped in sharp guitar tones, dramatic vocal delivery, and an undercurrent of controlled chaos.
