Japanese idol group ZOCX said Sept. 22 that member Kanano Senritsu remains out of contact while taking a break from activities, adding that it cannot provide further details about her situation.
In a statement posted to the group’s official X account, ZOCX said all newly announced events will be performed by the other five members: Seiko Oomori, Aimi Chao, Mayu Sentsubaki, Miyuki Amakuni and Hau NecoNecoNeco. The group did not disclose when contact with Senritsu was lost or provide information about her whereabouts.
The announcement follows a series of recent changes to Senritsu’s schedule. Her Sept. 7 solo show at Tokyo Kinema Club was postponed after her staff cited poor health, while ZOCX subsequently announced that she would miss other events because of health issues and other unspecified circumstances.
ZOCX emphasized that Senritsu remains part of the group’s current formation, saying the six members came together because of their shared attachment to ZOCX. The group said it intends to continue working toward an environment in which Senritsu can resume activities without undue pressure once she is able to return.
ZOCX’s current lineup was established in January 2025, when the former ZOC adopted the ZOCX name and relaunched with six members, including Senritsu, who returned after previously leaving the group in 2020. Seiko Oomori remains a producer and member.
As of Sept. 22, the group’s statement is the latest public information on Senritsu’s situation. No further details about her condition or whereabouts have been provided by ZOCX.
