Visual Kei band 夜光蟲 (Yakōchū, literally “Glowworm” or “Luminous Insect”) have released the official music video for their song “adora.”
夜光蟲 firmly belong to Japan’s modern VK landscape — though their sound leans toward atmospheric alternative rock rather than flamboyant maximalism. The band name itself, meaning “luminous insect,” functions almost as a mission statement: subtle light in surrounding darkness, restrained glow rather than explosive flash.
