Tokyo’s seven-member idol collective TENRIN have just dropped the music video for their song 君のスマイルメーカー (Kimi no Smile Maker — literally “Your Smile Maker”), fusing high-energy pop idol aesthetics with rock-leaning intensity and performance-ready choreography. Formed in 2020, TENRIN sits at the intersection of J-Pop idol culture and loud/mix rock sound, often incorporating rap, synth and rock instrumentation into their music in a way that distinguishes them from more traditional idol units.
