Rock band senkou syoujyo has announced the departure of bassist Koda Nakamura, as the Shimane-based group prepares to continue its activities with a new lineup. The announcement was made on the band’s official X account on Sept. 23.
Nakamura had been a member of the band for about three years. In a related message, vocalist Miku apologized for the sudden announcement and said Nakamura and the band would now pursue separate paths while continuing to support each other as fellow musicians. She also said the group does not intend to stop its activities and asked fans to continue supporting both Nakamura and Senkou Shoujo.
Senkou syoujyo is a rock band from Matsue, Shimane Prefecture. The group has released music including its four-track EP “Kawarimi Nai Hibi no Naka de” (“In Days That Never Change”), issued in March 2026. Its recent activities have included live performances in Shimane, Hiroshima and Tokyo.
The band’s upcoming schedule indicates it will continue performing under its new structure. Details on the group’s permanent bassist arrangement following Nakamura’s departure were not confirmed in the available announcement material.
