PompadollS

Tokyo alternative/piano-rock band PompadollS climb into dangerously romantic territory with the MV for 天使のはしご (Tenshi no Hashigo — “Angel’s Ladder”). Released September 15, the fourth instalment of their five-month release series builds from a sparse opening into expanding drama, tracing the fragile urge to make a lovers’ private world last forever. Think emotional escalation with a meticulously plotted gain curve: the arrangement grows as love’s promise becomes increasingly precarious. Heavenward title, decidedly human complications.
