The sharp-edged alternative rock / funk-rock band POLKADOT STINGRAY (ポルカドットスティングレイ) has dropped a new music video featuring a cover of “Cipher Cipher,” originally performed by Kana Hanazawa (花澤香菜) — one of Japan’s most recognizable voice actors and pop vocalists. Rather than a straight tribute, the band retools the track with their signature elastic grooves, angular guitar lines, and sly rhythmic tension.
