Alternative rock project PEDRO, led by vocalist and bassist Ayuni D, turns emotional wreckage into stage fuel on スポットライト (Supottoraito — “Spotlight”), released September 23. The former BiSH member channels envy, frustration and bruised ambition into a determined rock song about continuing to chase a dream—even when your fiercest heckler lives inside your own skull.
The video makes that struggle wonderfully tangible: Ayuni performs atop a rubbish mountain representing regrets, longing and abandoned dreams. Think emotional archaeology with an amplifier—yesterday’s baggage becomes today’s stage riser. Beneath the spotlight, the interesting story is the untidy climb into its beam.
