True to Guitar Wolf’s uncompromising minimalism, the A-side delivers raw attitude and velocity, while the B-side adds an unexpected layer of literary reference. Supersonic Ihatov takes its name from Ihatov, the fictional, poetic world created by Kenji Miyazawa—a symbol of innocence, fantasy, and spiritual idealism. The contrast between Guitar Wolf’s feral rock ’n’ roll energy and Miyazawa’s dreamlike universe creates a sharp but deliberate tension, where brute force collides with mythic imagination.
