The alternative rock / indie rock band FINLANDS have released a new single titled 「エンドロールタイマー」—literally translated as “End Roll Timer” (or “End Credits Timer”).
Known for their sharp-edged guitar tone and emotionally transparent lyricism, FINLANDS continue to operate within Japan’s introspective alternative scene. “End Roll Timer” carries a cinematic nuance in its title, evoking the countdown feeling that accompanies closing credits—suggesting themes of closure, transition, or the fragile space between endings and new beginnings. Sonically, the band’s signature blend of melodic alternative rock and slightly raw vocal delivery remains central, combining tension-driven verses with expansive chorus dynamics.
